I wanted to share what’s been going on lately. I’ve been struggling with a significant neck injury that’s made it tough to perform services. Balancing my roles as a mom, wife, and business owner has been incredibly challenging, and the business is feeling the impact without me.

I can’t thank you all enough for your patience and understanding during this time. I’m working hard on my recovery and can’t wait to be back with you soon! While I may not be taking on services right now, I’m making it a priority to come in and see you all.

I’m so grateful for my amazing team, including my esthetician Mia, who are here to support you and ensure you continue to receive the care you deserve.

Why: Exfoliating removes dead skin cells, which helps the spray tan adhere more evenly to your skin.

How: Use a gentle exfoliating scrub or a mitt to slough off dead skin. Pay extra attention to rough areas like elbows, knees, and ankles. Avoid oil-based exfoliants as they can leave a residue that might interfere with the tanning solution.

SHAVE OR WAX

Why: Shaving or waxing before your spray tan helps avoid patchiness. If done after the spray tan, it can remove some of the tan and cause unevenness.

How: Shave at least 24 hours before your appointment to allow your pores to close, which can prevent the tanning solution from settling into them and creating dark spots. If waxing, do it at least 48 hours before to avoid any irritation or adverse reactions.

MOISTURIZE

Why: Well-hydrated skin holds a tan better and for longer.

How: Apply a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer daily leading up to your appointment. Focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, and ankles to ensure they don't absorb too much tanning solution and turn darker than the rest of your body. Avoid using moisturizer on the day of the tan itself, as it can create a barrier.

By following these steps, you can create the ideal canvas for your spray tan, resulting in a more even, natural-looking glow! 🤍
